Palar Agricultural College, through the Palar Bio Rich Incubation Forum (PBRIF), successfully organized the AGNIINO Hackathon 2026 in association with StartupTN, promoting innovation and technology-driven solutions for the agricultural sector under the theme “Innovate. Solve. Transform.”
The hackathon brought together talented students, startups, and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to develop innovative solutions addressing key agricultural challenges. Participants presented ideas across various challenge areas, including precision farming, post-harvest innovations, circular economy, and supply chain logistics.
The event was facilitated by Mr. Deepak Raju, Project Associate, StartupTN; Mr. Raja Rajan, Nutalipid3 Pvt. Ltd.; Mr. Gokul, Founder of Tamil Nadu Startup Network; and Mr. Boopathi S., Hustloop Pvt. Ltd. Their expertise and guidance encouraged participants to develop practical, scalable, and technology-enabled solutions for agriculture.

- First Prize: CaneSil Nutriplus, sponsored by Agrisakthi, founded by Mr. Selvamurali.
- Runners-Up: Agribotics, Uzhamai Agronomics, and Infinitech.

Supporting Innovation Beyond the Hackathon
As a continued commitment to fostering agricultural entrepreneurship, PBRIF will facilitate top-performing teams in transforming their ideas into viable startups. The support will include assistance with DPIIT Startup Recognition, documentation, intellectual property (IP) guidance, and incubation support.
The successful conclusion of AGNIINO Hackathon 2026 marks another step towards strengthening the startup ecosystem and encouraging technology-driven, sustainable agricultural innovation at Palar Agricultural College.
