Visit to Regional Research Station , Paiyur
As part of course curriculum, I B.Sc.,( Hons.) Agriculture Students (74 students) of 2024 batch were taken to the exposure visit under the course of AGR (101) – Fundamentals of Agronomy and Agriculture Heritage (1+1) during I semester on 23.01.2025. Students visited to Regional Research Station, Paiyur, Krishnagiri District with staff members Dr. Tamilselvan, principal, PAC. Dr. J Vanathi , Dr. Mahadevan A, Dr. Vennila Mary, and Dr. Revathi. In this visit, students were learned about the organizational structure of RRS and various research activities on major crops grown in the region were discussed. An appropriate agricultural practice to increase the productivity and knowledge about various techniques to the farming community was deliberated by the scientists.
