An awareness rally on human-wildlife conflict was organized by the Tamil Nadu Forest Department and Palar Agricultural College, Vellore, at Sarangal Village in Prenambut Forest Range on 8th October 2024 at 10.30 a.m. The rally was conducted to raise more awareness towards living with wild animals, thereby highlighting the importance of conservation, among others. More than 80 students from Palar Agricultural College actively participated and vowed to spread the message of harmonious coexistence between wildlife and man in society. The rally consisted of enlightening activities, educational stalls, and discussions. The prime intention was to equip individuals with knowledge and techniques to curb such conflicts. This was crucial for the harmony and sustainable future of humans as well as wildlife, and it reminded us that people must also join together to protect our natural heritage.
