Palar Agricultural College organized an enlightening seminar on “Career Opportunities for Agri Students in Civil Services – UPSC/TNPSC” under the esteemed guidance of Honourable Chairman Thiru K.C. Veeramani, B.A. The session was presided over by Dr. N. Tamilselvan, Ph.D., Principal of the college. The keynote address was delivered by Mr. S. Rajasekaran, B.Tech., MBA, Project Head at GTN IAS and a well-known UPSC Exam Trainer and Author.

Mr. Rajasekaran offered a comprehensive overview of the various career avenues open to agriculture graduates in the civil services domain. He highlighted the significance of agricultural knowledge in the UPSC and TNPSC exams and provided in-depth guidance on the syllabus, exam pattern, and effective preparation strategies.

The seminar, meticulously organized by Dr. A. Vennila Mary, Assistant Professor (Agricultural Extension), served as an eye-opener for the students, inspiring them to consider civil services as a viable and rewarding career path. A total of 392 students attended the session and benefited immensely from the valuable insights shared.
