Programme Details

An exposure visit to the KVK – Seed Hub and Oilseed Research Station, Thindivanam was organized for 53 students of the 2023 batch on 08-05-2026 as part of the course SST 351 – Seed Entrepreneurship Skill Development & Management (1+1).

Objectives of the Visit

The visit aimed to enhance students’ practical knowledge and provide exposure to:

  • Seed certification procedures
  • Seed processing techniques
  • Seed storage practices
  • Ongoing research activities

Learning Outcomes

The programme offered students hands-on exposure and experiential learning opportunities in seed science and technology, strengthening their understanding of practical aspects related to seed production and management.
