B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture third-year students visited seed testing laboratory, Vellore on 19.10.2022.  Mrs. Latha, the seed analyst explained the critical role of seed testing in agriculture. The students learned about different categories of seed sampling and how these samples are analysed. The analyst also discussed the preparation of seed testing reports and the importance of maintaining accurate records. This educational visit provided the students with a comprehensive understanding of the procedures involved in seed testing and underscored its importance in ensuring the quality, health and viability of seeds for agricultural purposes.
