ORCHARD

Total Area – 21.2Acre

 

It is a farmland where fruit crops are grown on a large area. We have around 21.2 acres of orchard which comprises of Mango, Jackfruit, Banana, Citrus, Guava, Pomegranate, Dragon fruit, Jamun, Amla, Custard apple, Star fruit, etc.,

The main aim of our orchard is to

  • Increase the production of various fruit crops.
  • Demo units for high density planting system were also developed to disseminate the HDP technologies to the students and farmers.
  • Field trials and hands on training practices viz., training and pruning operations,
  • Pest and Disease Management
  • PGRs application for increased production in off season is being conducted.
