Discussion on Palar Bio Plus – Enriched Vermicompost

An international interaction meeting was conducted to explore collaborative opportunities in sustainable agriculture with Mr. Daniel Asomani, a Ghanaian entrepreneur and founder in the food industry sector. The meeting focused on introducing and discussing Palar Bio Plus, an enriched vermicompost developed to improve soil health, crop productivity, and environmental sustainability.

The institutional delegation included Dr. N. Tamil Selvan (Principal)Mr. S. Srinivasan (General Manager)Dr. K. Vignesh (Assistant Professor), and Mr.Vinoth (Advisor). The discussion emphasized the role of science-driven organic inputs in addressing soil fertility degradation and enhancing crop performance under diverse agro-climatic conditions, particularly in African farming systems.

Palar Bio Plus is a nutrient-rich, eco-friendly vermicompost enriched with beneficial microbial inoculants such as Azotobacter, Azospirillum, Phosphobacteria, Trichoderma, Pseudomonas, and Beauveria. The product improves soil physico-chemical and biological properties, enhances nutrient availability, promotes plant growth, and helps suppress soil-borne pathogens, making it suitable for all types of crops.

During the meeting, potential collaboration models were discussed, including technology transferjoint productionfield validation trials and market expansion of Palar Bio Plus in Ghana and other African regions. The collaboration aims to promote sustainable and climate-smart agricultural practices, reduce dependency on chemical fertilizers, and support farmer income and food security.

The interaction marked an important step toward strengthening international partnerships in agri-innovation and laid the foundation for future cooperative initiatives focused on sustainable agriculture and global knowledge exchange.
