Investor Education and Awareness Seminar for Agriculture Students from SEBI and CDSL

The Placement Cell Coordinator, Dr. A. Vennila Mary, organized an Investor Education and Awareness Seminar for Agriculture students from SEBI and CDSL on 20.07.2024. The seminar aimed to equip students with financial knowledge to make informed investment decisions. The keynote address by Mr. K. Ravi, Prof. (Economics) emphasized the importance of financial literacy and its impact on economic growth. Chief guest Mr.S.N.Jayabalan, SEBI Securities Market Trainer, discussed risk assessment, regulatory framework, depositories, savings, financial planning, demat accounts, risk awareness and a safe digital world.
