The college farm houses an Oyster mushroom cultivation unit complete with a dedicated mushroom shed capable of accommodating up to 100 bags.
Students receive practical, hands-on training in the cultivation procedures of oyster mushrooms, gaining valuable insights into agricultural practices.
Farmers trainings also being given both on and off farm training on Oyster mushroom cultivation.
These trainings not only imparts knowledge of mushroom cultivation but also instills entrepreneurial aspirations among students and farmers.
In addition to cultivation techniques, students are trained in spawn production, marketing strategies, and value addition, under the expert guidance of staff from the Department of Plant Pathology.
