VEGETABLE UNIT Total Area – 2.42 acre   Various types of vegetable crops were cultivated to meet the requirement of hostel mess and local market. Vegetables like Tomato, Brinjal, Chilli, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Cucumbers, Beans, Bhendi, Radish, Carrot, Tuber crops, Greens, Gourds and Melons are cultivated in our vegetable unit. We are also concentrating on the production of underutilized vegetables like Ivy gourd, Coccinia, Chekurmanis, Winged bean, Tree tomato etc., for commercialization. We also engage the students during practical classes to actively learn the practical aspects of nursery technology, field preparation, cultivation and pest and disease management of vegetable crops.
