The final year students of PAC have undergone RAWE (Rural Agricultural Work Experience) Programme which comprises of ADA attachment (5 days), Village Stay Programme (45 days), NGO attachment (5 days) FPO (5 days) and Agro Industrial tie up (5 days) for the course “AEX 401 Rural Agricultural Work Experience (0+20)”. The students were allotted to 10 different blocks of Two districts viz.,Vellore (K.V.Kuppam, Pernambut, Gudiyatham and Anaicut), Tirupattur (Madhanur, Jolarpet, Natrampalli, Tirupattur and Kandhili and Alangayam) based on the discussion with Joint Directors of Agriculture of the concerned districts. Group Facilitators were allotted for each group students for effective monitoring and evaluation. In this regard, an orientation program was conducted for the students on 04.03.204 Chief Guest Mr.Somu, JDA,Vellore and Dr. S.Nandhakumar, Former Dean, APAC, Dr. Y. Hariprasad, Principal presided over the function. Students were sensitized about their schedule of RAWE programme and things to be followed during the period of 65 days stayed at their villages. Ms. S. Vaitheeswari, AP (Agrl. Extension) organized the orientation programme. All the teaching faculty of PAC attended the function.
