Seminar on “Employment Opportunities For B.Sc(Hons.) Agriculture Fresh Graduates” was organized by Placement cell coordinator Dr. A.Vennila Mary Asst. Prof (Agrl.Extn) On 22.07.2023 to all four Year Students .
Agri creators is a pioneering institution of Agricultural Education is Tamil Nadu, Registered under the Government of India. It was estastished on 9thNovember 2014,and it is symbolically designated as Agri creators has been established by Mr.Venkatesan M.Sc (Agri),Founder and chief executive director. The main motto of Agri creators is to impart Agricultural Education & farming ideas with respect to agriculture and allied branches such as horticulture, sericulture, forestry, agriculture Engineering etc . Agri creators is one stop solution for all academic and job related aspects. They also providing skill development training’s, job consultancy and coaching for competitive examinations.
The seminar was started with a warm welcome address by Dr. A.Vennila Mary Asst. Prof (Agrl.Extn) .Then Special address given by our principal Dr.Y.Hariprasad and he adviced students to explore all their options to examine likes and dislikes and to take a few career-assessment tests.
PAC – Career guidance is a comprehensive development program designed to assist students in making and implementing informed educational and occupational choices.
The resource person Mr.Venkatesan M.Sc (Agri), imparted knowledge to students about how B.Sc Agriculture graduates can work in a variety of government, private, and public institutions, research centers, and agriculture firms through power point presentation. Following were the list of some of the most prevalent job fields after completing this course: Government Research Institutes, State Agricultural Universities (SAUs),Seed Manufacturing Companies, Food Technology Companies, Bank, Agriculture Fields, MNCs, Fertilizer Manufacturing Firms, Food Processing Units, Central & State Government Departments, Schools & Colleges, Machinery, and Industries.
This seminar helped our students in B.Sc(Hons.) agriculture to see a variety of available academic options that would help them to find how to develop plans to reach their educational and occupational goals.
