On the occasion of former Chief Minister Selvi J. Jayalalithaa’s birthday, a tribute event was held at Palar Agricultural College at 9:45 AM.
The event was organized under the leadership of the college’s General Manager, Mr. Srinivasan, and the Principal in charge, Dr. K. Rajeshwaran. Former Principal Dr. Y. Hari Prasad and Advisor Mr. Ravi also participated. In their presence, floral tributes were offered to Jayalalithaa’s portrait.

Following this, professors, assistant professors, and office staff together paid homage by offering flowers to the photograph of the former leader. At the end of the event, everyone observed a one‑minute silence in honor of Jayalalithaa’s memory.
