The “Workshop on Career Guidance & Placement Opportunities” was organized by Placement Cell Coordinator Dr. A. Vennila Mary, Assistant professor (Agrl. Extn.) on 20-06-2024 at Palar Agricultural College auditorium. The keynote address was delivered by Dr. S. Manikandan, Principal (i/c), who discussed current job market trends and emphasized the importance of proactive career planning. Mr. M. Nirmal Bharathi, Academic Coordinator, briefed participants on job search strategies using LinkedIn’s job search functionalities and networking capabilities. Ms. Sujeetha and Ms. Shaik Kafrin Nisha, LinkedIn specialist focused on helping participants to identify their career goals and develop a strategic plan to achieve them. Ms. Preethi, LinkedIn Specialist covered the various aspects of interview preparation, including common interview questions, body language and effective communication techniques.
The “Workshop on Career Guidance & Placement Opportunities” successfully achieved its objectives, providing participants with the tools and knowledge needed to navigate their career paths effectively. The event was a valuable experience for all students (Third year-137and final year-99), contributing to their professional growth and employability.
