The first-year graduation ceremony of Palar College of Agriculture was held at Kothamarikuppam village near Melpatti in Pernambut Union in Vellore district. College Chairman K. C. Veeramani presided over the function. The principal of the college, Dr. N. Tamilselvan, read the academic report. K. Subramanian, Director, Tamil Nadu Rice Research Institute, Aduthurai, and Dr. Mariya Antony Raj, Principal, Sacred Arts and Science College, Tirupattur, were the special invitees. Vice-Chancellor, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Dr. V. Geethalakshmi spoke on agricultural education and distributed degrees to 245 students of 2017, 2018, and 2019 batches who completed their graduation in Bachelor of Agriculture. Former principal of the college Hariprasad, Aroor MLA Sampath Kumar, and others were present. In addition to the college Public Relations Officer Dr. C. V. Prabhu and Assistant Professor G. Arsha, the function was compered.
